🆕 Channels

Channels let you create group chats directly in Jira - no setup, no admin permissions.
They’re perfect for cross-team discussions, release planning, or anytime you need more than a 1:1 conversation.

🐾 How can I create a channel?

1. Go to the Dashboard by choosing Chat for Jira in Apps section.

2. You will be moved to Dashboard.

3. Choose the “+” and then create a Channel.

4. Give your channel a name and select the members you want to include.

Open

5. Start chatting with you group! 💬

How to add/remove users?

In the selected channel, look to the top right corner for management options marked as “…” where you can whether add or remove users.

How to leave the chat?

As above, in the selected channel, look to the top right corner for management options marked as “…” where you can leave the chat with one click.
